The International Student Day was celebrated in the Academy

Students always have such important and significant features as patriotism, love of freedom, a fresh, non-trivial view of the present and the past, social activity, optimism.
Youth has always been and remains the driving force of society, its conscience, its internal voice. Its active public position, indifference to the events taking place in the country, give a powerful impetus to development."
Such words addressed the participants in the cinema concert hall "Ukraine", leading celebrations on the occasion of the International Student's Day. And again the word for greetings was given to the rector of the IAPM, Mykola Nestorovich Kurko, who reminded the story about the history of the holiday, wished the students success on the way of life and in learning, the enthusiasm, loyal friends, the realization of the conceived.
The head of student self-government of the Academy Besarab Taras, welcoming the students, wished first of all good health for a fun celebration and sincere friends and beloved ones.
During the official part, the best students of the university received honors for excellent achievements in education, active participation in public and sports life, and cultural and artistic projects of the Academy.
At the end of the celebration, those present in the hall were able to enjoy the performances of the participants of the university amateur performances and invited performers.
