April 26 at the Concert Hall "Ukraine" at IAPM screening of "Ilovaysk. Knights of the Sky" was held. To see the film students of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, Economics and Law college at the IAPM, management of the Academy, teachers and workers have come.
Film was presented by its director Catherine Strel'chenko, police sergeant of the regiment of special purpose "Dnepr-1", participant of the Ilovaisk events Zimenko and cameraman Dmitry Pankov.
"When have created this film and did not expect that it will be seen by such a number of people. "Dnepr-1" is a film-requiem dedicated to the 15 volunteers from the regiment. The story of each of them formed the project basis. These are memories of relatives and friends of victims, stories of witnesses that have passed through the bloody hell in the end of September 2014. Now we shoot a sequel of this film. The regiment "Dnepr-1" has already lost 30 soldiers,15 of them - in Sands, we shoot the next part about them" - said Catherine Strel'chenko.
The film is a requiem dedicated to the soldiers of the battalion "Dnepr-1" who died during the exit from Ilovaisky pot. In the documentary memories of families, friends and colleagues of fallen soldiers are collected. It is shown who they were, what about dreamed and why they went to the war ...
