Annually, on December 12 - the day of the death of Heydar Aliyev - Azerbaijanis around the world pay tribute to the nation-wide leader.
It's been 15 years since of the sad day when the founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, the world-famous political and state figure Heydar Aliyev, was not found.
December 12, absorbing the bitterness of losses, returns us, today's citizens, not only to the past, but also symbolizes fateful achievements and bright victories that the world community connects with the name of Heydar Aliyev.
The meeting was opened by the rector of IAPM, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Mykola Nurtorovich Kurko.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Pan Azur Khudayar oglu Khudiyev, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Golovaty Nikolay Fedorovych, Poltava Regional Council member Fakhraddin Mukhtarov and student of the Educational and Scientific Institute for International Relations and Social Sciences Umid Abiev provoked their speeches.
The event completed a joint review of the film about the life and activities of Heydar Aliyev.
The event was organized jointly with Emil Huseynli, counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vusal Suleymanov and the Embassy's press attache.
