IAPM Presidential University hosted a vocal contest “Hits of the 90s”
On December 11, 2019, a singing contest was held at the IAPM Presidential University. Traditionally, contestants choose songs that are combined with a certain theme that changes every year. This year, these were pieces that were combined in time - hits of the 90s.
The vocal competition began unusually - with the dance composition "Disco 90's". Then students Taras Bessarab and Anastasia Grishak took the initiative in their hands and in the format of "Autoradio" as real professional presenters, announced the contestants, interviewed "active participants of the 90s disco", played games with the listeners, told the audience about the features stormy 90's ...
Students who came to the Ukraine Concert Hall to "cheer" on their performers also had the opportunity to win prizes by participating in competitions and learn a lot of interesting things.
And only the jury tried to focus on the performances of the vocalists.
This day the jury worked on:
- Postgraduate student of the National Music Academy. Peter Illich Tchaikovsky, soloist of the Sofia Chamber Choir Taras Kushnir;
- Master of National Music Academy. Peter Illich Tchaikovsky, Kyiv Chamber Choir soloist Konstantin Lenchyk;
- Head of the Extracurricular Department Anna Kurtakova;
- active participant of 90s disco Valentina Slysarenko.
After calculating the points and the additional vote, the jury members announced the results:
- nomination “Best Vocal Trio” - winners Yulia Rudnytska, Sophia Zakhlibna and Kateryna Ponomarenko from the Economic and Legal College at IAPM;
- Anna Ruchka from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Management, Economics and Finance won the nomination for Best Songwriting;
- “Vocal Future of the Academy” became Irina Suchkova from the Economic and Technical College at IAPM;
- The Audience Award was given to Violetti Kravchenko from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Management, Economics and Finance;
- a trio consisting of students of the Faculty of Computer and Information Technologies Maxim Lebedev, Nikita Bondarenko and Alexei Pakhomov became the "Best Competitive Debut";
- best embodied the image of the 1990s Natalia Morozko of the Law Institute of Education;
- Volodymyr Zinchenko, a student of the Law Institute of Law, took the third place;
- Kristina Mokan, a student at the Institute of Design, Architecture and Journalism, II place;
- Iryna Klimchuk from the IAPM - I place.
The winner of the Grand Prix of the vocal competition "Hits of the 90s" became a student of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations and Social Sciences of Vitaly Nikolaev.
