Open lectures «Activities of the State Security Department of Ukraine»
On September 24–25, 2025, at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of the IAPM, open lectures on the topic “Activities of the State Security Department of Ukraine” were held as part of the educational process with 2nd-year students of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. The representatives of the State Security Department of Ukraine also joined the lecture.
“The aim of the event was to familiarize students with the tasks, structure and features of the professional activities of the State Security Department, as well as to contribute to the practical training of future specialists in the field of law enforcement and security,” said Oleksandr SAVKA, Deputy Director of the Institute, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement and Anti-Corruption, PhD of Law.
The events were also attended by the Deputy Head of the Department of Law Enforcement and Anti-Corruption Activities of the Institute, PhD of Law – Viktor VATSYUK and the Head of the Student Legal Consulting Center “Central Legal Clinic”, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory of State and Law and Constitutional Law of the Institute, PhD of Law – Anastasia TERNAVSKA.
The issues of legal regulation of the activities of the State Security Department, practical aspects of ensuring the protection of state figures and important objects, as well as the possibilities of further cooperation between the educational institution and practical services of the security sector were discussed during the lectures.
A question and answer session, during which applicants had the opportunity to receive practical advice on professional development in the field of law enforcement and security activities was held after the lectures.
The management of the Institute expresses gratitude to the representatives of the State Security Department of Ukraine for conducting professional open lectures and for their readiness for further interaction within the educational process.
