Exhibition “So That My ‘I Love You’ Doesn't Come Too Late. Letters from Children during the War”
On February 24, on the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the exhibition “So That My ‘I Love You’ Doesn't Come Too Late. Letters from Children during the War”.
This unique exposition is the initiative and result of the hard work of Lyudmyla Kryva, Director of the Center for Coordination of Scientific Publications and International Projects at IAPM.
The exhibition reveals to visitors letters from children who witnessed two different wars: correspondence from Polish children 80 years ago and touching messages from Ukrainian children written in the context of the current Russian-Ukrainian war.
An important role in the event was played by higher education students of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management who are currently studying at the Academy of Social and Media Culture (Poland) under the Erasmus+ program. Among them: Oleksandra Hembar, Anastasia Shpyha, Polina Andriychenko, Valeria Nitsevich (students of the Educational and Research Institute of Psychology and Social Sciences of the IAPM), Valeria Stashchenko (student of the Educational and Research Institute named after Prince Volodymyr the Great).
The exhibition was held under the honorary patronage of the Consulate of Ukraine in Gdańsk, which emphasizes its importance for the Ukrainian-Polish cultural dialogue and preserving the memory of children's experiences of the war years.
Such events not only help to preserve historical truth, but also contribute to a deeper understanding of the value of peace and life through the prism of a child's perspective.
IAPM continues to actively support international initiatives that promote cultural dialogue and expand academic opportunities for students.
