The monograph is devoted to theoretical and practical questions of interaction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and modern Ukrainian society. It discusses the historical genesis of state-church relations, the peculiarities of the development of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the ways of relations between the Church and the state in the conditions of globalization, and argued that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was, is and will be an integral part of Ukrainian culture, history and future of the global the world. The book is a complete theological and political research, a source of information that makes it possible to comprehend the formation and development of the social doctrine of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, public theology, and national political science thought.

According to Yevhen Alexandrovich Romanenko, Doctor of Sciences in Public Administration, Professor, Head of the Department of Public Administration of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, President of the Assembly of Doctors of Sciences in Public Administration of Ukraine, "The book may be useful for teachers of the social doctrine of the Orthodox Church, political science, other social sciences, graduate students, political figures, students, as well as a wide audience of readers interested in the life of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and political processes in Ukraine " .

The famous Ukrainian scientist Mykola Fedorovich Holovatyi, vice-rector of MAUP on scientific and educational work, doctor of political sciences, professor, analyzing the text of the monograph, noted the following:

- Church-state relations at all times were not only complex and changing but also questions that largely characterized the specifics of the existence of the spiritual and moral foundations of man (personality) of society as a whole. Currently, this process complicates the systemic crises associated with the economy, politics, and morals. Globalized societies, on the one hand, are potentially developing, especially economically, and, on the other hand, we have many problems that complicate people's lives: terrorism, hunger, declining educational levels, economic disasters, and war. In these conditions, there is a real need to improve the dialogue between the Church and society on the basis of democracy, multiculturalism, and high spirituality. In addition to the statement of these phenomena, the authors of the monograph are looking for an answer to the question of how to do it practically, so that the state and society were as humane as possible, useful for the person, induced it to such: as a humane attitude towards the neighbor. Without such a dialogue, social unity is impossible.

Professor Archimandrite Gabriel (Crisina), Doctor of Theology, in his review of the book notes:

- At the present stage of the development of the Ukrainian State, the role and activity of the Ukrainian Orthodoxy becomes an important actualization caused by the influence of the spiritual values of Christianity on all spheres of public life. This leads to a real constructive dialogue between the Church and society, which provides a qualitative change in the social and communicative environment of the modern world.

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that researchers consider the interaction of the Church, state, society as an instrument of development of mankind, openness and transparency of democratic processes of the activities of state authorities and religious organizations. The authors, talented theologians, contemporary secular and church scholars - Archpriest Dionisius Martyshin and the priest Pavlo Bochkov emphasize the growing role of the Orthodox Church in the social processes of Ukraine. The study broadens and specifies the understanding of the Church's relation to culture, politics, economics and social issues. The monograph pays special attention to such aspects as: theological theoretical identification of the concepts "Church", "state", "society", "social doctrine of the Church", "social service", "mission", "globalization", "spiritual unity of the people" and their components in the context of modern theological approaches to the study of the history of the Ukrainian Christian Churches and the theological thought of Christianity.

It is worth noting that the reliability of the results obtained in the monograph is confirmed by the methodological and theoretical substantiation of the starting points of the research. The realization of the purpose and tasks of scientific work was carried out through the comprehensive use of general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge of social processes and phenomena. Accordingly, the definition of promising directions for the development of the social doctrine of the Orthodox Church, public theology and social service of Christianity has been carried out correctly, reasonably, evidently and is the result of a logical generalization and systematization of the provisions of the completed study. Taking into account the monograph "Interaction of Church and Society in the Conditions of Globalization Processes" Archpriest Dionissi Martyshyn and priest Pavel Bochkova are relevant and timely.
