Meeting of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law students with representatives of the legal clinic

20 September 2024 11:22

In early September, students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law met with representatives of the legal clinic to learn more about its activities and opportunities for their own professional development. The purpose of the event was to familiarize students with the practical side of law enforcement, as well as to provide them with the opportunity to communicate with experienced lawyers.

The NNIP Legal Clinic is an important platform for students, where they can gain practical skills by working on real legal cases under the guidance of professional lawyers. During the meeting, representatives of the clinic spoke about the main areas of their work, including the provision of free legal assistance. Students had the opportunity to learn about the types of legal problems most often resolved in the clinic, as well as the stages of working with clients - from consultations to full support of cases in courts.

Special attention was paid to the practical experience that students can gain by participating in the work of the clinic. Students were explained how they can join the clinic team, work on real cases and, under the supervision of lawyers, help people solve legal problems.

In addition, they met with practicing lawyers who shared their experience in various legal areas - from criminal to civil and administrative law. They spoke about the challenges they face during their professional activities and gave advice to students on building a successful career in the human rights field. Recommendations regarding internships, working with clients and developing legal skills were especially valuable.

For students, this meeting was an important step on the path to professional development, giving them the opportunity to better understand the practical side of jurisprudence, get acquainted with lawyers and practicing lawyers, and also get answers to questions about their own professional future.

More information about the activities of the legal clinic can be found on the NNIP website or by contacting its representatives.
