Marta S. Chumalo

A well-known expert on gender policy and activist for the protection of women from domestic violence.

The first Ukrainian woman to be awarded the Olof Palme Prize for outstanding achievements in human rights work (2023).

She received the Human Rights Tulip Award from the Embassy of the Netherlands for "outstanding achievements in the fight for human rights" (2020).
