The Department is profiled on training in major "Tourism".

Specializations:
  • International tourism
  • Organization of tourist activity.

The objective: formation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of future specialists in tourism.

The main tasks: formation of students' ability to solve problems of tourism activities at national and international tourism markets creatively, developing the ability to make decisions in various spheres of activity; achieve efficiency in implementing the goals of tourism organizations as well as their own goals.

The department provides conducting all kinds of classes, independent students’ work, methodological support, control of learning of disciplines: "Geography of tourism","Camping studies","Recreation complexes of the world","Basics of tourism". "Trips organization","Excursions organization","The organization of animation activities","Tour operating","Marketing in tourism","Training in business communication","International tourism","Standardization and certification of tourist services","Transport providing tourist services","Business-training in organization of tourism enterprises","Real tourist services","Security essentials in tourism".

Head of Department –Candidate of Economical Sciense Radzievskii Alexander Ivanovich.

He graduated from Kyiv Technological Institute of Light Industry (1961). Doctor of Economics, Professor.Manages masters’ degree works.

Deputy Head of Department - Candidate of Economic Science, Professor of IPA Baev Vadim Victorovich.

He graduated from Chernovtsy National University (1988), Candidate of Economic Science (2014). Teaches subjects: "Standardization and certification in tourism", "Transport provision in tourism", "Business-training in organization of tourism enterprises", "Quality management", "Civil protection".

Volvach Fedor Vasilievich - Professor, Doctor of Geographical Science. He graduated from the Kiev Agricultural Academy (1965). Teaches subjects: "Ecotourism", "Ecology", "Safety".

Dakhno Ivan Ivanovich - Professor of Department of Organizing tourism activities. Doctor of Economics, Professor. He graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv (1971), qualifications: Economic geographer, Teacher of geography. Teaches subjects: "Geography of tourism","Camping studies","Real tourist services". Author of scientific and educational publications: Dakhno I.I. International tourism: textbook, Center of educational literature, 2013, 456 p; Dakhno I.I. Global business: textbook,Kyiv: Center of educational literature, 2013, 356 p.

Khilchevska Irina Gennadievna - Professor of Department of Organizing tourism activities. She graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv (1998). Geographer, expert on international studies.Candidate of Geographical Science, Specialty 11.00.02. - Economics and social sciences. Thesis: "Social and geographical aspects of external relations between Ukraine and Germany." Professor of IPA.Teaches disciplines: "International economics","International tourism".

Levchenko Nikolai Alexeevich - Professor of Department of Organizing tourism activities. He graduated from Wolski military school (1980), qualification "Military commodity"; Gomel Cooperative Institute (1993), qualification "Economist-organizer of trade management and catering." Ph.D in Public Administration, Professor of IPA.Teaches disciplines: "Fundamentals of hotel business and tourism activities"."Organization of restaurant business", "Security Essentials in tourism". Al-Tmeyzi Alina Yurievna - Associate Professor of Department of Organizing tourism activities. She graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (2000). PhD in Economics (2012) Thesis subject:"The functioning of aviation infrastructure of Ukraine in the system of the world integration processes".Teaches subjects: "Basics of tourism","Trips organisation".

Tordiya Nadezhda Vladimirovna - Associate Professor of Department of Organizing tourism activities. She graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv (Faculty of History) (1999.). Candidate of Biological Science.Teaches subjects: "Ecology", "Organizational culture".

Torlo Vladimir Alexandrovich - Associate Professor of Department of Organizing tourism activities. He graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv (1971), majoring in: "Economics and social geography". PhD in Economics.Teaches disciplines: "Recreation complexes of the world".
