16 days against violence: how was the action at the Severodonetsk Institute
Students of the Severodonetsk Institute of IAPM participated in the annual All-Ukrainian Action "16 Days Against Violence".
Law students went to city schools together with the representatives of the City Center for Social Services for Family, Children and Youth, and told students of various classes about the rights of children, enshrined in the Declaration of the Rights of the Child.
The conversation was also about forms and means of combating domestic violence. When communicating with junior students, students demonstrated excerpts from their favorite tales and cartoons for children illustrating cases of violations of children's rights. Every situation was discussed together. There were also riddles, poems and slides that helped children better understand their rights and ways to protect them.
Such measures help to raise awareness among the public on the problem of combating domestic violence and the ill-treatment of children.
