Theological legacy of Metropolitan Volodymyr
December 19, 2015 on the feast of St. Nicholas at the Museum of Metropolitan Volodymyr in the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral Towers took place the presentation of a new book by His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr, "Thoughts from different years", published by the Foundation for Memory of Metropolitan Vladimir.
Head of the Department of Ukrainian Orthodoxy and theology of IAPM, Fr. Dionysius Martyshin, while presenting the book, said that today IAPM leads constructive and fruitful cooperation with the Foundation for the memory of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr in the direction of development of Orthodox theology, the modern church science and preserve the memory of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Volodymyr (Sabodan). In his speech father Dionysius said that Metropolitan Vladimir was not only great man, theologian, social thinker, and translator in the life of mankind evangelical ideas of peace and love.
Confessor Foundation for the Memory of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr, Metropolitan of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky Vishnevsky Alexander was talking about importance of updating the theological heritage of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr, including joint projects of the Fund and IAPM, said that it would be good based on the works, thoughts and books, Metropolitan Vladimir in the future to make a textbook on the history of Orthodoxy in Ukraine.
