Eco-hour "Civilization: Development or Self-destruction?"
As part of the Week of Enhancement of Ecological Culture, library staff prepared for the students of the Danube branch of the IAPM echoing on "Civilization: Development or Self-destruction?"
April marks the World Environment Day and World Day of the Earth, and April 26 - International Day of Remembrance for the Chernobyl disaster.
The International Day of the Earth is a holiday of pure water, pure earth, pure air. A Day of Reminders of Environmental Disasters, a day when every person should think about what the Earth needs to be cared for and protected.
Volunteers of the International Public Movement "ALLATRA" (Coordinating Center for staying in the city of Kyiv) Catherine Pereverza and Kristina Kovalevska were invited to meet with the students, who spoke about this movement and the reports of scientists ALLATAR SCIENCE "On the Problems and Consequences of Global Climate Change on Earth. Effective ways to solve these problems."
Students have looked and discussed the issues of the video presentation "Ecological problems of Ukraine" and agreed with the volunteers on the further steps of cooperation.
