In Khmelnytsky IAPM Institute round table scientific meeting "Ukrainian language and nation" were held

5 November 2015 in Khmelnitsky IAPM Institute held a scientific meeting "Ukrainian language and nation Perspective during the globalization process", which raised language problems, civilizational and cultural development of Ukraine in the context of contemporary globalization; Ukrainian language in the modern media space; legal documents on language policy in Ukraine at present; State Language Policy in Education of Ukraine; language environment pupils and students, and other challenges of our time.

Scientific meeting began with a welcoming speech of Director of Khmelnytsky IAPM Institute Leonid Belyj. In speech he remembered about the current language problems. He told everyone to love, to learn, to develop Ukrainian language. The speakers were: Kabachynska Svetlana, Honored Journalist of Ukraine, international correspondent of the weekly "Zerkalo Nedeli"; Slobodyanyuk Tatiana, Head of the National newspapers of Khmelnytsky State Administration and Council "Podolski news"; Zoya Didenko, Head of Khmelnytsky City Association "Enlightenment"; Kulbovskyy Nikolai, writer, journalist, art historian, ethnographer, folklorist, Member NSZHU, MSPU, winner of the Prize of Shevchenko; Datsyuk Alexander, Archpriest, Secretary of Khmelnitsky Eparchy, Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and theology Khmelnytsky IAPM Institute; Matviyuk Kuzma, Chairman of Cossack. Kot Alexandra introduced a book-illustrative exhibition "Open, in mother tongue, their treasury of gold" in Khmelnytsky Regional Ostrovsky Universal Scientific Library.

The speakers were: students of Khmelnytsky IAPM college (Anastasia Yakymets, Victoria Ostapchuk), student of Khmelnytsky Trade and Economic College of Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics Ivan Galyuk and students of Sergei Yefremov NVO number 5 (Anastasia Filonyuk - student 5 in class, Roman Rehlitskyy – 5 class student, Ilya Volkov - 8 class student, Veronica Hrebinchuk - student of 9 grade, Alexander Levitsky – student of 10 class, Anastasia Konek - student of 11 class). Students presented a poetic song "My speech is not silent." Students read poems about native language mentally and emotionally.

At the end of the scientific event there was vocal ensemble department "Choral conducting" from Zaremba Khmelnytsky music school. The creative team has fascinated all present people with high level of performance and warmth of sound.

During the scientific session worked the book-illustrative exhibition "Mother tongue is a big gift".

At the end Director of the Institute L. Belyj thanked everyone for their fruitful work.
