In the Odessa IAPM Institute completed action "Putting the caps on the prostheses for soldiers"

On June 1, 2015 started the All-Ukrainian action "Putting the caps on the prostheses for warriors" for the collection and recycling of plastic caps (lids are made of different types of plastic) for prosthetics soldiers ATO.
The campaign is designed to solve simultaneously two problems - environmental and social. The action was supported by the Ministry of Environment of Ukraine.
On September 3, 2015 Club "Themis" Odessa Institute of AIDP has also joined this charity. Management of the Institute noted that it considers the duty to help compatriots, warriors, while the line is of fire, and they sacrifice themselves for the sake of our prosperity.
"We have announced a campaign in college, and almost the majority of students and faculty and staff of the Institute takes part in it, helping Ukrainians, who lost an arm or leg in an undeclared war against Ukraine! Covers are thrown in three boxes: at the entrance, at the Small meeting room of SNT (Rm. 25) and in the dormitory. At the same time, we collect food and other things for ATO soldiers, that we did during the last action in 2014-2015 academic year", - said chairman of the organizing committee, member of the club's shares "Themis", Vice-President of the Student Council OI AIDP, 3rd year college student, Stanislav Prokhorov .
Club supervisor established communication with the volunteer of organization "Partial people". Through volunteer Helen Bulat and demobilized volunteer Taras (call sign "Sarmat") students send caps for prostheses and packages for soldiers ATO. So, from the end of September has been commissioned 5 large blocks of caps, 100 UAH and 4 packages of tea, cookies, etc. November 21, the Day of dignity and freedom, Helen Bulat and her colleagues have brought gifts to the front.
In February, after beginning of the 2nd semester, action will be extended.

Background: For the manufacture of prosthetic caps are crushed into granules, and are sent to the processor, processor pays for raw materials. For manufacturing of prosthetic arms there must be more than 500 thousand of caps. For prosthetic legs - almost 900 thousand.
