Interregional Academy of Personnel Management

On October 26-27, 2017, the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Mental Health "Mental Health: Global Challenges of the 21st Century." Will be held at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. The purpose of the conference is to attract the attention of global researchers to the global problems of mental health.

The organizer of the International Conference "Mental Health: Global Challenges of the XXI Century." Is the Center for International Academic Mobility of the IAPM. The conference is organized by IAPM in close cooperation with a number of Ukrainian universities: Lviv Polytechnic National University, Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University, Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University; as well as numerous international organizations and scientific institutions: Mohamed Lamine Debaghine, Sétif 2 University (Algeria), Technological Educational Institute of Thessaly (Greece), NDSAN Network (Italy), University of Manitoba and Canadian Center for Disability Studies (Canada), Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg (Germany).

The conference really represents the global issues of mental health. Since the conference is attended by representatives from different parts of the world: Algeria, Canada, India, Europe (Italy, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Latvia, Ukraine).

The cooperation of Ukrainian and international scholars in the framework of the conference will provide an opportunity to explore the prospects of addressing specific issues of mental health in multidisciplinary and multicultural aspects, and will stimulate the pooling of research for the effective resolution of global mental health problems.

For the event a new format of the conference has been created, which will become a platform for cooperation, exchange of ideas and best practices for research on mental health. For the first time in the history of Ukraine (in the field of humanities), the results and materials of the conference in the field of humanities will be disseminated through the scientific basis of Scopus and will be available in international scientific journals.

MAUP also acts as one of the three organizers (National University "Lviv Polytechnic", University of Würzburg (Germany) and MAUP) of the international symposium "TOWARDS HEALTHY SOCIETY: HUMANISTIC MEASUREMENT" (October 11-13). The purpose of this symposium is to identify ways to build a healthy society based on the integration of the theory and practice of social inclusion and the creation of a network of partner cooperation "No Restrictions" at the local, regional, national and international levels.
