Educational Process News at Chernihiv Institute of IAUP
The main objective of the Institute is to prepare students for the effective performance of professional functions in the future. That is why it is very important that students get involved in law practice during their studies, including through visits to courts, prosecutors, law firms and notary offices.
One of these visits was organized on November 11, 2019 by teachers of the Department of Law, Zakharchuk IV. and Sidorenko EV
The students were present at the court hearing on the criminal case under Part 2, Art. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional light bodily injury) - considered the case of the judge - Kuzyura M.M.
Future lawyers had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the practical implementation of the provisions of criminal law. Students analyzed how the rules of criminal justice were put into practice and, in addition, were able to observe how the rules of criminal law were being implemented.
Such measures are most informative for students, as they are designed to enhance the legal culture of students and certainly help to acquire first professional experience, practical knowledge and a clearer understanding of the specifics of the work of a lawyer in the judiciary and in the representation of persons in court.
And working with law professionals will help students navigate the diversity of the legal profession in the future.
