Freshmen of Khmelnytskyi Institute visited regional scientific library
The first-year students together with the head of psychology department Valentyna Oliynyk visited the Khmelnytskyi regional universal scientific library.
Library staff conducted for students a fascinating excursion to all departments. All students were also able to get a library card to attend the institution later.
In the unified library system of Ukraine, this library is regional in importance, scientific and universal in terms of library holdings, and public in its purpose. The library is the central regional book depository of works of print, manuscripts, local lore literature, center of book exchange, interlibrary loan, center of local librarianship, coordination organizational and methodical center of public libraries, all libraries of the region regardless of the form of ownership.
Various forms of library work mark anniversary and commemorative dates, presentations of books, magazines, newspapers, scientific-practical conferences, evening portraits, creative meetings with actors, musicians, writers, book fairs, local lore and literary readings, lessons.
