Expanded meeting of the Academic Council in IAPM: summary and prospects
By long-standing tradition before the start of the new academic year at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management comes an extended meeting of the Academic Council. This year's event took place on August 30th. During the meeting, there were announced the results of work during the past academic year and discussed plans for 2016-2017.
The meeting began rector of Interregional Personnel Management Academy Nikolai Kurko. Nikolai Nesterovich reported the achievements of the Academy, changes in the composition of the Academic Council, the achievements in the academic, educational and research activities over the past year. First IAPM Rector noted that the level of student academic performance in the 2015-2016 was 99%. Diplomas of bachelors and masters received 6243 people.
The Academic Council summarized that the past year had 126 conferences, round tables and scientific workshops, published 820 articles in scientific journals, issued 52 monographs and 4 of the collection "The scientific works of IAPM".
«For the 2015-2016 academic year IAPM expanded integration activities in the international scientific community and led Scopus ranking, won first place among private universities of Ukraine», - said Nikolai Kurko.
Also, three students of the Academy during the last academic year have won the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers on political and legal sciences. Rector of the Academy noted the educational work of the Academy, which aims to identify creative and sports potential of the student body. Nikolai Nesterovich emphasized that in 2015-2016, IAPM basketball team in the Majors won silver, at Cup of Kiev Academy team won gold, IAPM students Igor Glavan, Nazar Kovalenko, Ivan Banzeruk took part in the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio and student of the 5th course Zhan Belenyuk got silver in Greco-Roman wrestling at the Olympics. According to the rector, in the 2016-2017 about 14,000 students will start learning.
At a grand meeting of the Academy employees were awarded with certificates of honor and gratitude for the success and professional achievements in the educational and methodical work.
Last academic year has brought many fruitful results, and the new – requires new perspectives and further advances in all aspects of educational activities.
