During the first part of the excursion, an employee of the Khmelnytsky City History Museum, Victoria Paponov, worked with the students. She told the audience about the city council building, the history of local government formation and Proskurov's leaders, and later Khmelnytsky.

The students then worked with Yulia Sergiyevna in sessions of the Khmelnytsky City Council. The case manager informed everyone about the structure of the city council, the composition of the deputy corps. She emphasized the importance of education, the ability to set goals and achieve goals.

In the course of their work, the students elected a city leader by their vote, and he became Nikulin Vladislav, who appointed a secretary - Belusyak Bogdan. During communication with the provisionally elected mayor, freshmen were interested in the issues of construction of a garbage processing plant, cleaning of the Southern Bug, development of the city's sports infrastructure, overhaul of roads, improving living standards and others. They also discussed the positive features that the mayor must possess in order to work for the benefit of the city community.

Separately, the case manager focused on youth education programs implemented by the city government. Everybody can choose an interesting direction because youth projects have different directions - political, business, educational.

It was also interesting for students to hear about the possibility of internship in the structural units of the city council. As a result of the internship, all participants are placed in the city council's personnel reserve, which provides for further employment if vacancies are available.

The students were also told about the official symbolism of Khmelnytskyi (the coat of arms and the flag of the city, the khorugva (standard) of the mayor) and the historic State Flag of Ukraine, which is recently stored in the Khmelnytsky City Council.

During the excursion Yulia Sergiyevna emphasized that if you work hard now, over time, each of the boys and girls present will be able to come to work as a deputy of the city council or even the mayor of Khmelnitsky.
