Students of the Khmelnytsky Institute - participants of the XIVth Summer Universiade of Ukraine
Students of the Khmelnytsky Institute under the guidance of the teacher of physical education Tuz Sergiy Petrovich took part in the All-Ukrainian Athletics Student Race that took place on May 31 at the Khmelnytsky National University.
The event was held at the initiative of the Committee on Physical Education and Sport of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with a view to broadly attracting students from higher education institutions to active physical education and sports. In 2019, the Student Race is timed to close the XIV Summer Universiade of Ukraine.
The track-and-field race was launched under the name "Green Mile" in 2018 for a distance of 1 mile (1609 meters) by the Committee on Physical Education and Sport of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the Sports Student Union of Ukraine. The participants were 15 thousand students from 100 institutions of higher education of Ukraine.
