Student of the Khmelnytsky Institute won in the regional stage of the XIX International Competition on the Ukrainian language of the name of Peter Jacyk!

Sobchenko Oleksandra Aleksandrovna, the 2nd year student in the specialty "Law", took the 2nd place at the regional stage of the XIX International Competition in the Ukrainian language of tof Petro Jacyk.

Alexander for the second year in a row won prize places at regional stages of language competitions. It should be noted that the competition was attended by representatives of sixteen universities of the III-IV level of accreditation, there were about 50 participants.

Certificate. The international competition of Ukrainian language experts named after Petro Jacyk is a competition aimed at strengthening the status of the Ukrainian language, raising its prestige among young people, raising respect for the culture and traditions of the Ukrainian people.

According to the decision of the Ukrainian patrons' league, the competition was given the name of Peter Jacyk, and his daughter, Nadia, became the honorary head of the competition.

In recent years, the number of contestants has reached 5 million people from more than 20 countries.

The competition starts annually on November 9, on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language.

The competition takes place in four stages according to the Olympic system: school, district, regional and all-Ukrainian. The winners of the competition, in addition to valuable gifts, receive a monetary reward.

The winners of the competition are determined by an authoritative jury headed by Professor P. Y. Gritsenko - Director of the Institute of the Ukrainian Language of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The competition involves both Ukrainians and persons of other nationalities who know Ukrainian language and use it.
