IAPM student won gold in Rio and set a new world record!

IAPM 5th year student, Ukrainian swimmer Catherine Istomina won the gold medal at the Paralympic Games in Rio in the 100m butterfly in Class S8.

Our "goldfish" overcame the distance in 1:09.04, setting a new world record! The second result showed the Briton Stephanie Slater - 1:10.32, the bronze won Briton Jessica Long, showing a time of 1:10.53.

Congratulations to Catherine and wish new achievements in sport!
