The Week of Law at IAPM
December 13, Within the Week of Law, the Representatives of the Main Territorial Department of Justice of the Luhansk Oblast visited the Severodonetsk institute of IAPM. They presented the material on the theme: "Corruption and ways to overcome it in Ukraine". Students were introduced to the experience of the Singaporean and Swedish anti-corruption systems. The main features of these systems and the possibility of their implementation in Ukraine were outlined. Representatives of the Justice Department examined with students the signs and factors of corruption in both the state as a whole and a single citizen. The interest raised the discussion of students' questions about the powers of specially authorized bodies in the field of prevention of corruption and the powers of the territorial administration of justice in the field of control of the legality of normative acts of local action. Representatives of the Justice Department reminded students about the project of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine "I have a right!" and the possibilities of attraction to it.
