Interregional Academy of Personnel Management

April 19, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management held the chess competitions. It was as part of the Games among teams of students of higher educational institutions of III-IV accreditation levels, which are located on the territory of Holosiivskyi district of Kiev.

The competition was organized by the Department of Family, Youth and Sports state administration in Kyiv of Holosiivskyi district, Department of Physical Education of IAPM, fitness center "The centralized system of youth sports clubs in the community "Holosievo".

The competition was attended by 5 teams of higher education institutions:

• team of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management;
• team of National Academy of Security Service of Ukraine;
• the team of National University of Food Technologies;
• team of National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine;
• team of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University.

Competitions were held in accordance with the rules. Time control - 10 minutes for each participant in a single party. The winners were determined in 5 rounds.

Chief Judge of the competition was the chief specialist of the Department of Educational and Sports activities in universities of the Committee for Physical Education and Sport, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, a national referee, Candidate Master of Sports Ivan Zaharchuk.

"The purpose of this competition is to promote achievements of the game, to encourage students to intellectual sport, revealing talented young chess players of Ukraine and enhancing their skills," - said Ivan Romanovich.

Results of the competition:

3rd place - team of National University of Food Technologies;

2 nd place - the team of National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine;

First place - team of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Winners were awarded with cups and diplomas of the Department of Family, Youth and Sports Holosiivskyi district state administration and health and fitness center "The centralized system of youth sports clubs in the community "Holosievo"

Olga Korobiy
