Odessa Institute IAPM held a conference "Problems of modern management»

            The Odessa Institute IAPM held the annual XII National Scientific Conference "Problems of modern management: economic, environmental, political, legal, historical, cultural, mental aspects." For the first time Odessa Institute has prepared this traditional annual conference together with the Eastern National University named after Volodymyr Dal (city Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, universities forced exile from the city Lugansk), particularly with the Department of "logistics management and traffic safety in transport", which is headed by renowned scientist - PhD, Professor, Head of Nataliia Chernetska-Biletska.

The problems of the modern state, regional and local regulation. Management and business projects, personnel and technology, logistics management in Ukraine acquired special significance in terms of reforms in all areas, decentralization announcement of zero tolerance to corruption, strengthening the defense industry in the hybrid wars against Ukraine, taking into account the implementing rules of the Association Agreement with the EU and free trade. Fundamental reforms within the "Strategy - 2020" require new approaches to regulation on the part of politicians, civil servants, local government, leaders, scientists, economists, lawyers, psychologists, engineers and technicians, and other professionals in all areas and at all levels management. These problems are analyzed by national conference participants during a plenary session and four working sessions and workshops for individual sections.

            The first day of the conference - 24/11/16  Presentation was hold by the Director of OI IAPM Ph.D. Stadnik Olexandr - co-chairman of Organizing Committee, who welcomed all participants pointed the importance of improving modern management in all spheres and wished researchers, practitioners, postgraduates, masters and students successful productive work. In the plenary session were: co-chairman of the Organizing Committee Ph.D., professor Chernetsko-Biletska, who presented new approaches to problem solving in transport management; Professor Maruschak analyzed the dialectic of management and economics in the development of the country, causing a lively discussion; Associate Professor, PhD Sadova highlighted the position of conceptual issues of professional responsibility of the individual - according to the theme of her doctoral thesis.

            The discussion was continued in sections: Section 1 - Actual problems of modern management and economic problems of management activities; Section 2 - Political and legal, historical, cultural and psychological aspects of management; Section 3 - Logistics management and traffic safety in transport; Section 4 - Innovative approaches formation of electronic educational resources for the training of future specialists.

           25 November 2016 Section 3 participants visited Odessa sea port, where they met with experts to discuss important port security issues of transportation and logistics management. For participants from other cities was organized such excursions: to the historical museum, tour the center of Odessa and "Criminal Odessa". Also some guests were interested in visiting the performance of "Swan Lake" at the world famous architectural beauty Odessa National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

           November 26, 2016 summed up the contest papers of students and graduates. Evaluation was performed by the participants. Winner is a graduate of Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport Eugene Gorobets (city Dnipro). Students and undergraduates, received certificates and diplomas.

           The conference was attended by representatives of universities and practitioners from Odessa, Kyiv, Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Mariupol and Kramatorsk Donetsk region, Izmail, Odesa region, Kropivnytskyi, including 8 doctors, and famous scientists:

- Ramazanov Sultan Kurbanovich - PhD, Doctor of Economics, Professor, "Kyiv National Economic University," Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine, Ukraine Excellence in Education (Kyiv);

- Maruschak Volodymyr - Doctor of Public Administration, Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Law and the legislative process of the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine reviewer of Compendium of the materials of the conference;

- Reznik Nadiia - Doctor of Economics, Professor of Department of exchange of the National Agricultural University of Ukraine (Kyiv);

- Horobets Volodymyr - doctor of technical sciences, professor, chief researcher of the Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport (Dnipro);

-Mykola Gorbunov - Doctor of Engineering, professor, head of rail, road transportation and lifting machinery in East Ukrainian National University named after Volodymyr Dal (Severodonetsk);

-Berestovyi Anatoliy - PhD, Professor, Head of navigation and maritime transport in Azov Maritime Institute of the National University "Odessa Maritime Academy" (Mariupol);

- Other scientists from Universities with strong academic schools - Kyiv State Academy of Water Transport named after Hetman Petro Konashevich Sagaydachnyi, University named after Dal, Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport (Kharkiv), Institute of Vocational Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv), Odessa Maritime Academy, Odessa National University named after Mechnikov, Odessa National Polytechnic University, IAPM, Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport (Dnipro), Izmail State Humanitarian University, National Research Institute of Informatization and Economic Modelling Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine (Kyiv) and other institutions.

Participants noted, that urgent is the search for optimal angles of decentralization of power, reforms in the following areas: social control, management of state construction and local government, public management, public administration, legal regulation, political leaders, social management and spiritual management, business management, logistics management, financial management, management in the environmental sector management in the military sphere, organization management, people management, labor groups, corporate management, machine control, process control and other areas of European integration.

Thus, it is clear that the institute`s research topic "Problems of modern management" has enormous potentials for scientific research, both now and in the coming years.
