A scientific-practical seminar on public administration took place
On July 25, 2019, Vice-rector of IAPM Yevhen Romanenko, Head of the Department of Professional Education and Management of the Educational Institution of IAPM Irina Zhukova and Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration of the IAPM Oleksandra Marusheva took part in the VII scientific and practical seminar "Latest information and communication technologies in the modernization of public administration: foreign and domestic experience". The event was organized by the Department of Information Technologies and Information Systems of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.
During the seminar, the issues of political, legal, organizational, technical, technological, social aspects of the introduction and development of e-governance and e-democracy at different levels of public administration were discussed.
It was also emphasized that the use of information and communication systems in public administration is considered to be a decisive factor for achieving the effectiveness of its economic functioning as a specific institutional tool for the implementation of state policy.
Yevhen Romanenko emphasized the fact that the quality of information and communication links between individual subjects of public administration is determined by a number of factors. And this affects the overall systematic structure of the entire organization of public administration. In addition, information and communication ties also affect the quality of information flows carried out within the entire system of government, as well as the characteristics of external relations of public administration.
According to the results of the seminar, a collection of materials of theses of the event will be published.
