The meeting with the Hero of Ukraine Volodymyr Zhemchugov will take place at IAPM, Kyiv
On September 25, 2019, students will meet with Volodymyr Zhemchugov, Hero of Ukraine, within the educational project "Kremlin Captives".
Start at 13:00 in Kyiv, Frometivska st, 2, building 1, assembly (cinema) hall. The meeting will be held in an open microphone format: each student will be able to ask questions and participate in the discussion. During the event, a presentation of the film "Kremlin Captives", made on demand of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, will take place. At the end of the meeting, participants will receive disks with the film and other informational materials.
Volodymyr Zhemchugov is a participant in the resistance to Russian aggression. Since May 2014, he has been an organizer and active participant in the resistance movement against the Russian occupation in the Luhansk region. From September 29, 2015, to September 17, 2016, he was a prisoner of the so-called "LPR" fighters. He was trapped with severe injuries as a result of tripwire. Volodymyr is an active participant of state and volunteer events in Ukraine and abroad. In particular, he conducts military-patriotic lectures-conversations with schoolchildren, students, cadets, and servicemen.
