Since its establishment, the Centre for Coordination of Scientific Publications and Development of International Cooperation has been headed by L.M. Kryva, Candidate of Historical Sciences.
In 2021-2023, the Centre carried out systematic organisational work to establish new scientific periodicals of the Academy and include them in the List of National Professional Publications of Ukraine. As a result, the number of scientific periodicals of the Academy has increased from 3 to 11 journals, and their frequency of publication from 2 to 4-6 issues per year. Teachers, scientists, students, postgraduates and doctoral students of the Academy have been given the opportunity to publish their scientific articles in professional publications free of charge.
The relevance of thematic research and the professionalism of scientific articles published in the Academy's publications contribute to the work started by the Centre in December 2023 on the indexing of IAPM scientific journals in international scientometric databases, including their promotion in the Scopus database.
In 2022 and 2023, the Centre successfully represented IAPM at prestigious international venues, in particular the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Forum of Innovation, Science, Business and Local Self-Government in Toruń (Republic of Poland).
As part of the Academy's internationalisation programme, the Centre organised a series of open lectures by leading Polish scientists for students and staff of the Presidential and All-Ukrainian Universities of IAPM, and established contacts with diplomatic missions in Ukraine and abroad.
Representatives of the Academy, organised by the Centre, are active participants in international scientific events, such as:
Together with the Polish partner university, the Academy of Social and Media Culture in Toruń and the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz, projects are being implemented within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ (KA1) academic exchange programme. Thanks to fruitful and consistent cooperation with partner universities, in 2022-2024, 12 IAPM students participated in this programme and had the opportunity to study for one semester at the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz and the Academy of Social and Media Culture in Toruń.
For students who come to study at partner universities under the academic exchange programme, the Centre coordinates their adaptation and orientation courses as part of ‘Orientation week’, involves them in scientific and cultural events during the academic semester, and monitors the quality of their studies.
In 2022-2023, one of the main areas of activity of the Centre is to search for partner foreign higher education institutions and prepare international projects with them for the implementation of scientific research by the Academy's scientists in close scientific coordination with their foreign colleagues, in particular within the framework of KA2 projects of the EU Erasmus+ programme.
