Celebration of Lawyers Day in IAPM
8 October at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management Lawyers Day was celebrated.
Celebration started in the conference hall of the Academy, where the International scientific and practical conference «The role of law in shaping modern society» took place. The conference was attended by students, teachers and employees of IAPM. The main thematic areas: basic problems of law theory; areas of civil, labor and commercial law in Ukraine; finance and its development in modern state conditions; actual problems of security systems in a company; international law; the current state of administrative and legal management in government.
During the meeting, a number of interesting reports was voiced, including:
- Usenko N.V.«Problems of the legal status of migrants in the member states of the European Union»;
- Prikhodko D.M. «Terrorism as a socially dangerous phenomenon»;
- Usenko V.S. «Foreign experience on the reform of notaries in Ukraine»;
- Otroshenko L.V. «Combating corruption in the judicial system of Ukraine»;
- Mishkin M.S. «"The Morel’s Plan"» in the context of Regulation of compromise situation in the east»;
- Zaveruha V.G. «The principles of legislative activity in Ukraine»;
The conference was held in the context of the overall research at IAPM.
After the conference a concert was held.
«The legal profession for a long time was considered as one of the most prestigious, and yet very challenging and responsible. Unquestioning adherence to the letter of the law, the order in the state and its security depends on lawyers. Legal profession is very important for Ukrainian society, because now, when our country is developing, expectations and objectives of the rules of law, compliance, strengthening security protection and raising legal awareness Ukrainian rely on jurisprudential community», — these words welcomed students and teachers in the cinema hall «Ukraine».
In the first part of the concert, there was the ceremony of awarding diplomas: teachers got them for contribution to the development of modern legal science and many years of hard work with students, and students got diplomas and thanks for academic excellence and active role in research activities of the Institute of Law. Awards were handed by vice-rector for educational work, general director of the Presidential University at IAPM Nicholai Kurko and Director of Volodymyr the Great Institute of Law Victor Litvinenko.
Students of various disciplines and institutes of the Academy congratulated lawyers with their professional holiday. At the concert everyone could enjoy songs and acrobatic sketches by Academy stars. All participants received bright emotions at the event.
