Interregional Academy of Personnel Management

April 6 with the support of the Embassy of Syria in Ukraine and the International Open University of IAPM Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Syria in Ukraine Hassan Haddury came to students. The Ambassador spoke to the future diplomats with a lecture on "The internal and external policy of Syria".

At the beginning of the lecture Mr. Hassan Haddur familiarized students with the major historical achievements of Syria:

"Syria is a country with a great history. The capital is Damascus, the oldest capital in the world, the history of which has about eight thousand years. St. Paul came from Damascus to Europe. In Syria was invented the first alphabet and the first musical note was founded here".

Next Ambassador told the students about features of the internal and external policy of Syria. Mr. Hassan Haddur noted that Syria's internal policy is aimed at ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens, social protection, development of the humanitarian sphere, implementation of measures to strengthen the defense capability and national security, public order, etc. The lecturer spoke about modern Syrian relations with other countries and international organizations, stressing that the most important means of conducting foreign policy is diplomacy.

During the lecture IAPM students put many questions to Mr. Hassan Hadduri.

After an interesting lecture Mr. Ambassador met with the leaders of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. Also during the visit the Ambassador was acquainted with the educational complex, highlighting a large number of architectural monuments and spirituality Alley of IAPM.
