Tatiana Chornovol from journalism to parliamentary inquiries

26 September Tetyana Chornovol visited the Discussion Club IAMP .

Tatiana Chornovol - Deputy of VIII convocation Ukraine, Ukrainian journalist and public figure, former correspondent portals "Livyi Bereg", Ukrainian Pravda. Known in Ukraine for her resonant and risky investigation of corruption schemes and political actions. In the past - Government Commissioner for anti-corruption policy and Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

To meet a famous journalist, students from Presidential University and of Economics and Law College came on a conference. At the beginning of her speech Chornovol said that recently became a student of IAMP:

"This year I enrolled to the Academy. All my life I worked as an investigative journalist. I am in the position of a deputy, and im doing the same. But I do not have tools for investigations. So this year I joined the Institute of Law IAMP. "

Tatiana Chornovol described the resonant case, which she disclosed during her journalist career.

"When I was a journalist, I was engaged in anti-corruption investigations. I always chose themes, which featured with big money and influential officials. Why these themes? - Because it does not matter what I write and which result will give my material. The biggest result I achieved this was disclosure scheme to plunder the state for $ 2 billion. "

Chornovol also told the students about basic economic and juridical difficulties with which she faced while working as a deputy.

At the end of the meeting the Rector of AIMP Mykola Kurko thanked for an interesting conversation and presented books which are published in Academy.
