In Khmelnytsky IAPM Institute conference "Preservation of national idea and national identity of Ukrainian people" was held

November 26 in Khmelnytsky IAPM Institute a scientific and practical conference "Preservation of national idea and national identity Ukrainian people in the context of the tragic events of the twentieth century. Ukraine in World War II (1939 - 1945)" was held. This scientific event brought together scientists from different cities of Ukraine (Vinnitsa, Kamenetz-Podolsk, Kyiv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi).

As part of the conference there were discussions on following topics: The Second World War: the causes, course, effects; Historiography and sources for the study of World War II (1939 - 1945 years.).; culture and education in Ukraine (1939 - 1945 years.); the legal system and state during the Second World War; Church during the Second World War; Skirts during the Ukrainian revolution of 1917 - 1920 years.; Holodomor 1932-1933 in Ukraine: causes, socio-psychological and demographic consequences, legal evaluation; National policy in Ukraine in 20-40-ies; Ukrainian ethnic deportation from Poland; deportation of Crimean Tatars: reasons, geopolitical implications; personalities in the history of Ukraine XX-XXI centuries.

The conference started with remarks of Director of Khmelnytsky IAPM Institute Leonid Belyj. He revealed in speech understanding contemporary Ukrainian genocide of 1932 - 1933. Also noted on the consequences of World War II in Ukraine.

Director of the State Archives of Khmelnytsky region V. Baydych highlighted the causes and consequences of the Holodomor of 1932 - 1933. Scientist continued his report with interesting historical facts about Khmelnychyna archives during the Second World War.

Candidate of historical sciences, senior researcher A. Trembitskyj presented collection "We remember 1932 - 1934! Memories of famine".

Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor A. Grigorenko told about scientific-pedagogical activity by World War II Professor R. Silina.

During the scientific session exhibition of archival documents "Path of Remembrance: Holodomor 1932-1933 in Ukraine" was working; Exhibition of photographs "Khmelnytsky during the Second World War" (Organizer - The state archive of Khmelnitsky region).

At the end final word of thanks was told by Director of the Institute Leonid Belyj, who thanked everyone for their fruitful work.
