Round table "Innovative methods for students' independent work" was held in IAPM

On March 10, in Aliev Azerbaijan-Ukrainian Institute of Social Sciences and Self-government a round table on the theme "Innovative methods for independent work of students" was held.

At the beginning of meeting with director of Aliev Azerbaijan-Ukrainian Institute of Social Sciences and Self-government Ivan Bidzyura welcomed everyone:

"I hope that thisround table will be interesting and useful on the background of the challenges that are put before the Ukrainian realities of science and education, challenges associated with search for mechanisms to establish a tolerant attitude to each other and to the events in the country. After all, today you, the students, are responsible for the future of our country. You are the ones who will represent Ukraine tomorrow, not only as a country with a specific population, but as a country worthy of European type".

First at a round table spoke MD, Associate Professor Oksana Drevitskaya. PhD focused on aspects related to the use of methods that are based on the psychological characteristics of students, in particular, autogenous immersion and group dynamics.

The next speaker was Doctor of Medical Sciences, Academician of the Ukrainian Technological Academy, Associate Professor Yuri Rul. In his report the academician based on the thesis that today in the field of education transition from informative to productive learning is needed. The driving forces behind the introduction of such a system Academician calls the active use of information technology and gaming approach. He offers support to teachers in creating notes and sending them electronically to students in advance, to replace the lecture format by the debate format. Game approach academician illustrated using an interactive application that creates crossword puzzles, for better absorption of materials.

Roundtable participants also touched upon the current trends in the field of information support of science and education; innovative methods and forms of education; organization of joint activities of teachers and students; modern forms of work with the student in their speeches, .
