In Odessa IAPM Institute a conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster took place
April 21, 2016 in Odessa IAPM Institute was held All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference on "Global environmental challenges of the 21st century", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident. The conference was opened by Deputy Director of candidate of sciences Vadim Wolansky. In the plenary session were: Ph.D., Acting head of the Department of Psychology and general subjects Sergey Bohan who analyzed the causes and consequences of the Chernobyl accident in 1986; Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Theoretical physics Lesya Ukrainka Eastern National University (Lutsk) Oleg Homutenko who investigated underestimation of the dangers of technological disasters of the Chernobyl accident.
Breakout sessions were attended by teachers of IAPM DPOs and other universities of Odessa, practicians and students. Ph.D., Associate Professor of General Social and Military Sciences, Military faculty of Odessa National Maritime Academy Victoria Kurzova reported on international legal regulation to address global environmental issues. Transformation of value attitude to nature was highlighted in the report PhD., Associate Professor of Cultural Studies of Mechnikov Odessa National University Victor Levchenko. Problems of land reclamation were analyzed by the Head of the State Land Cadastre Derzhheokadastr, Main Directorate in Odesa region, ICA Professor Mikhail Kuznetsov.
The authors examined the constitutional and legal basis of the environmental status of a man and a citizen, the trends of the state environmental policy, global environmental problems in the context of sustainable development, implementation of experience of the EU anti-crisis policy, philosophical problems of deep ecology, legal aspects of environmental entrepreneurshi.
For the first time "free section" of the report which could not relate to the subject of the conferencewas provided.
Conference participants received certificates.
For the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster on April 26 in OI IAPM commemorative events are also planned - poetry performances, meeting with the liquidators of the accident, a memorial service for deceased Chernobyl institute in St. Nicholas Chapel.
