Seminar-training on psychological resilience and psychological assistance to young people «All-Ukrainian Youth School of Psychological Resilience and Psychological Assistance»

On 25 September 2025, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management launched a seminar training seminar on psychological resilience and psychological assistance to young people under the project ‘All-Ukrainian Youth School of Psychological Resilience and Psychological Assistance’, implemented by the NGO ‘All-Ukrainian Union of Volunteers’ with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

The project aims to help participants acquire the relevant knowledge, skills and techniques, provide psychosocial support to young people, shape and develop a culture of mental health care, and create favourable conditions for improving mental health in Ukraine as a whole.

During the event, 40 young people, especially internally displaced persons and those living in frontline regions, from different regions of Ukraine, will learn about techniques for forming and developing a culture of mental health care, creating favourable conditions for improving mental health, first psychological aid/self-help in crisis situations, skills and techniques for recognising the need for psycho-emotional help and supporting their friends and loved ones in this; independently identifying and reducing psycho-emotional tension, as well as expanding their understanding of their own mental resources.

Thanks to the effective work of the team led by Svyatoslav Korsakevich, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychology and Social Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology, and Ivanna Voitenko, leading specialist of the Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology, participants in the event will develop their communication and societal skills to better adapt to the new conditions of modern Ukraine, as well as increase their mental and psychological resilience and self-help skills.
