Interregional Academy of Personnel Management

The auditor is a well-paid, prestigious and demanding profession. However, this profession requires continuous training and advanced training.

The purpose of continuous improvement of professional knowledge and qualification improvement of auditors is continuous deepening, maintenance on an appropriate level, expansion and updating of professional knowledge for ensuring the high quality of audit and its accompanying services.

The auditors of Ukraine in order to fulfill the conditions for extending the validity of the certificate annually improve their professional knowledge and undergo control testing in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation on the continuous improvement of professional knowledge of the auditors of Ukraine, approved by the decision of the Audit Chamber of Ukraine dated May 31, 2007 No. 178/5 (as amended).

From now on, IAPM will have courses for professional auditors. Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, having many years of experience in the preparation of bachelors and masters in the accredited area "Accounting and Taxation," concluded on December 29, 2017 with the Audit Chamber of Ukraine, an agreement on the preparation of auditors for control testing and received the right to be called "Center for training auditors to control testing".

Under this Agreement, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management and the Audit Chamber of Ukraine cooperate in implementing the activities of the Academy (Audit Center for Control Testing) in organizing the improvement of professional knowledge of auditors in order to prepare the latter for control testing as well as conducting such testing.

In accordance with the obligatory annual improvement of the professional knowledge of the auditors under the programs of the Audit Chamber of Ukraine, the Academy will soon start a course on the following topics:

Organization and method of quality control of audit services of firms that perform audits and reviews of financial statements, as well as assurance and related services (40 hours).
Topical Issues in the Application of International Standards on Quality Control, Audit, Review, Other Assurance and Related Services in the Audit Practice (40 hrs.)
Obtaining an understanding by an independent auditor of the internal control system of an entity and using internal audit work (40 hours).
The training will be conducted by experienced lecturers - certified auditors with practical experience. During the training on each of these programs, the participants will receive appropriate educational and methodological materials in paper and electronic form.
