Laboratory of Dual Education

24 May 2019 13:18

Modeling a situation, simulating a particular process is one of the most important and at the same time the most effective method of interactive learning, during which the behavioral skills of a future lawyer are working out.

The purpose of law students during studies in the laboratory of dual education is to practice in practice the procedural and behavioral skills in the conditions most approximate to the real (in a specially prepared office of the educational institution - in the courtroom, using the judicial symbolism, with a simulated litigation scenario).

Considered a block of procedural procedures (so-called stress test), which included the visiting a judge (at the stage of preparatory proceedings and at the stage of consideration of the case on the merits); conducting a court session with the use of video recordings present within the scope of journalistic activities; application of measures of judicial coercion (abuse of procedural rights, non-compliance with the requirements of a court order).

According to the results of our studies, we and the teacher, V. V. Shchokina, discuss the quality of participation of everyone with an indication of errors and ways of avoiding them, assessing the professional knowledge, skills and practical experience that are necessary for the fulfillment of the main professional tasks in the future.

Valery Naidyuk, student of III course of group 9-16 Б1П
