"Justice is a balance between good and evil" - Sergii Lysenko
On the eve of the Cossack feast of the Holy Virgin, which recently is also considered as the Day of Defender of Ukraine, Sergii Lysenko visited Ukraine's Economics and Law College.
Sergii Lysenko - IAPM Professor, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Director of Security IAPM, Adviser in International Agency of Business Security "SVR." Started his career in 1996 in the District Court in Kharkov as bailiff, later moved to the State Executive Service. He worked from detective to deputy chief of OCD Kharkiv and Kyiv regions. He left the public service with the rank of lieutenant colonel of police (2012). During the service received more than 30 departmental and international honors and awards. Credo: "Justice is a balance between good and evil."
So October 12 Sergii Lysenko greeted students that enrolled to the faculty of "right" in Ukraine's Economics and Law College, and told about the peculiarities of modern servants of Themis.
Serhii Lysenko started the story with these words:
«What does it mean to be a defender of the Motherland? Protection of the homeland and to protect the nation is not limited with service on the front, sitting in a trench. Homeland Protection - is, above all, increasing the success of the country for its achievements, is the development and modernization of the state through your mind and work!»
IAPM Professor said that for years of service, he revealed many high-profile cases. Particulary, in 2006, with the rank of captain of police, of the Criminal Investigation Department in Kharkiv City Department of Internal Affairs of Ukraine he personally revealed and detained extremely dangerous terrorists who committed three explosions of explosive devices in supermarkets in Kharkiv, for that he was awarded with the Order "For courage » III grade.
During the story, students immediately asked about awards on the chest of Sergii Lysenko. He said that each award is the memory of the crime baring, so among them: the award from management of the fight against organized crime, badge of "Law and honor", reward "for loyalty to the people of Ukraine", medal "For faultless service" and international awards. During the speech proffessor mentioned on the methodology and features of the disclosure and suppression of crimes of different categories and severity, adding that more interesting facts students can learn in his popular scientific book "Self Self-teacher of a trap, or how to disclose the crime on your own".
During his speech, students asked many questions. So future experts in law asked about an attitude of Serhii Lysenko about initiative to legalize firearms in Ukraine.
«Self-defense its our own business. I do not see anything bad in the fact that man is able to buy weapons for self-defense easily. However, everyone should be checked», – mentioned an orator.
Lysenko also told the students about the historical facts of heroism and features of modern Ukrainian patriotic education. At the end of the meeting, the deputy director of the college Prokopenko Svetlana said:
«Today we saw the real example how to serve to Ukraine and be the pride of the country!»
