On December 14, 2017, students of the Educational-Scientific Institute of International Relations and Social Sciences of IAPM in the course of studying state-legal disciplines visited the session building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

On the tour there was an opportunity to see the unique objects and premises:

- the blue-yellow flag of Ukraine, which was introduced by deputies to the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada on August 24, 1991 (this flag, as a relic, solemnly kept under glass near the central steps to the second floor);

- famous slopes of the Verkhovna Rada;

- a balcony from which the working places of people's deputies are visible;

- conference room and much more.

Tourists have learned a lot of interesting facts related to the history and present of the main building of the legislative body of state power of Ukraine. It was a very interesting and at the same time a cognitive excursion.

The Verkhovna Rada Session House is not only an important focal point for the country's political life, but also a magnificent architectural monument of our capital. From the first minutes of the excursion, students were impressed with the beauty and magnitude of the majestic building. Particularly impressed by the picture entitled "State-building" by Alexei Kulakov, reflecting the historic moment when 350 deputies voted for the adoption of the Declaration of Independence of Ukraine.

Students of the Academy had a unique opportunity to visit the lobby of the press on the sidelines, where they learned about the structure of the session hall on occasion.
