Interregional Academy of Personnel Management

November 24 the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management held the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "The European dimension of public administration reform in Ukraine."

Organizers of the event are: Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, SO "Ukrainian Assembly of doctors in public administration", International Personnel Academy, Confederation of private higher educational institutions of Ukraine, Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Institute of Social Sciences named after Aliev.

The conference was opened by Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Vice President of research and educational work in IAPM Mykola Holovatyy:

"I congratulate all the participants of the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference! Topic of the conference is unique and specific at the same time. Today we should hear the answer to the question "In what way has to be set up a nodal model of public administration». We need to determine in what the governance has to be based, which geopolitical orientation should be followed, what technology to use and how to develop the governance".

A welcoming speech at the plenary session also made a Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Director of the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian Institute of Social Sciences named after Aliyev, Ivan Bidzyura, presenting a new educational project:

"An important role in the reform of public administration plays the training of scientific personnel - agents of change. Preparation of bachelors in public management and administration of IAPM should be based on the philosophy of public administration and characterized by democracy and the preservation of basic Ukrainian values. Our new educational program would increase the practical training, including training on the subject reoriented to methods of analysis. An important feature of the new program is to focus on students ability to characterize the power of quality. The main idea of the project - a competent combination of acquired knowledge and skills of students and their application in practice. "

During the plenary session voiced a number of meaningful reports from leading Ukrainian scientists, experts of various fields of knowledge:

"Transformation processes in the system of public administration" by the Ph.D of Public Administration, Associate Professor, President of SO "Ukrainian Assembly of doctors in public administration" Eugene Romanenko;

"Development of the Institute of Public Administration" Doctor of Public Administration in IAPM Olga Chervyakova;

"Philosophical Foundations of decentralization:«Grassroots democracy»and proliferation of identities"  Ph.D., head of the department of philosophy and political science IAPM Iurii Myelkov;

"Ukraine as socialcommunicative trend in modernity: the existential choice" Ph.D., associate professor of the Institute of International Relations and linguistics named after Averroes IAPM Peter Lisowski.

Also among the main themes of the conference were:

• Ukraine in European integration processes: political aspects of the reform of public administration;
• the experience of Ukrainian public administration;
• introduction of the European experience of public administration in Ukraine: social assessment;
• good governance and public administration in the information society technologies for publicity;
• decentralization of government and public administration - as a roadmap identity Ukraine;
• public administration in the process of economic reform;
• Management tools in the development of public administration;
• modern paradigm of public administration in educational institutions.
