Hero of Ukraine (2019, posthumously). Ukrainian border guard, Major General. Head of the Training Centre for Junior Specialists of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Deputy Head of the Eastern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

During the war in Donbas, he defended the Ukrainian border in Donetsk and Luhansk regions as the head of a motorised border guard group.
