Inclusion

Inclusive education is a system of educational services guaranteed by the state, based on the principles of non-discrimination, consideration of human diversity, and effective involvement and inclusion of all participants in the educational process.

Inclusive education is often considered an alternative to the boarding school system, where children with special educational needs study in special educational institutions and are forced to live in boarding departments within them due to their territorial dispersion.

No child should feel different and excluded from educational, cultural and social processes - this is the main task of inclusion.

An inclusive educational environment is a set of conditions, methods and means for joint learning, upbringing and development of students, taking into account their needs and capabilities.

Advantages of inclusive education:

  • Inclusive education removes barriers in the education system and the support system for children with special educational needs.
  • Higher parental involvement in the learning process.
  • Children with special educational needs are given the opportunity to socialize, develop their interests and talents and further integrate into society, enter vocational and higher education institutions.
  • Children with special educational needs have the opportunity to establish friendships with their peers in and out of school and model appropriate ways of interacting with the team.
  • n inclusive classrooms, an atmosphere of calm acceptance of other people's differences is created.

Inclusiveness at IAPM is the process of creating and maintaining an environment that is free from discrimination and prejudice, and that welcomes and values all students, regardless of their background, experience, or needs.

The university's inclusion officers play an important role in ensuring an inclusive environment. They are responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures that promote inclusion and for providing support to students who need it.

Some of the functions of the Disability Support Office of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote inclusion.
  • Providing support to students who need it.
