Social aspects of sustainable development
Institute of Adult Education conducts courses "Social Aspects of Sustainable Development" in Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
Interregional Academy of Personnel Management provides mandatory annual dedicated training on social aspects of sustainability for faculty and professional staff members.
Faculty and professional staff from other higher education institutions are also invited to participate.
Students who choose this course will receive the corresponding 7 ECTS credits.

The training of specialists in the field of Social aspects of sustainable development aims to provide students with theoretical knowledge and develop their practical skills to work out and justify specific proposals on the principles of rational use of natural and anthropogenic ecosystems, the basics of current environmental legislation, principles of sustainable development, and to familiarize them with the ways of interaction in the field of environmental basics and sustainable development of local government, municipal administration, and the work of public organizations.
Structure of the course "Social aspects of sustainable development":
Module 1: Theoretical foundations of general socioecology. Conditions, factors, resources. Anthropogenic environmental factors.
Module 2. Global problems of anthropogenic disturbance of the environment. Population approach.
Module 3. Conceptual framework for sustainable development. System of global dimensions of sustainable development. Global Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
Module 4 Measuring sustainable development (indicators and indices).
Module 5 Sustainable Development Strategy of Ukraine until 2030.
Module 6. Environmental problems of Ukraine and its regions. Structural adjustment of the economy and new technologies. International environmental organizations
